New York Fashion week with Rachel Roy Collection

Rachel Roy Spring Collection

I was recently asked, "If you could wear  one designers clothing for a season who would it be?" Rachel Roy! Every piece just screamed Spring and then screamed BUY ME!!! Going into her show I had expectations for greatness, and my expectations were met.  Her bright color palette popped off of a gorgeous set of models, the model casting was superb!

p.s. Gold Medalist Sanya Richards Ross's pretty face and medals made an appearance :)

Visit & Tour of The Pendleton Woolen Mills

"Weaving America's spirit since 1909"

The Pendleton Portland Fall collection has recently landed!  This inspired me to share my recent visit to Pendleton, Oregon and tour of the Pendleton Woolen Mills.  Pendlton's quality is superb! My trip to the Mill showed their standards behind quality and it was truly amazing to see the care and process put into making their products.

Shoes at the A Detacher Show


I'm a fan.... ok a HUGE fan of A Detacher. Monika Kowalska designs are brilliant and her style flawless. Can we just talk about the Shoes!!!!! The Spring 2013 collection I will happily take a pair of each, and for that matter let's just throw in pairs of the Fall 2012 collection for good measure.

Charlotte Ronson found inspiration for this collection in water. The ocean+palm trees+me in a few of these dresses, sounds about right. I also loved the simplicity of the hair and makeup.

Tocca Spring 2013

With Emma Fletcher at the wheel the collection was full of whimsy with tons of feminine touches. The collection was inspired by chevron printed hot air balloons and vintage kaleidoscope patterns. Models posed in mirrored kaleidoscope styled compartments.
