Taking you backstage at Los Angeles Fashion Week

It truly does take a village. Backstage at any fashion show is a mix of organized chaos. Models floating around, sounds of blow dryers in the air, faces being beat to perfection, it’s a beautiful mess. I journeyed backstage during Los Angeles Fashion Week to get lost in the energy of hair and beauty by Redken, Doll House Team, Hot Roller Girl and nails by Zoya

Naeem Khan Showcases at Los Angeles Fashion Week

New York based designer Naeem Khan made a bold appearance at Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW). His Fall 2019 collection which showcased at New York fashion Week made its way to the West Coast. Intricately embellished gowns and separates ruled the collection accompanied by long kaftan style dresses with bold patterns reminiscent of Morocco. His signature glamorous red carpet looks were the perfect match for the Los Angeles runways.

Vintage Shopping, Babes On Legs, Los Angeles

Brunch and shopping seem to go hand in hand on Saturdays, especially LA Saturdays. Silver Lake is the perfect weekend locale. Trendy restaurants make for amazing people watching brunches while the shops have a local boutique kind of demeanor. Babes on Legs is such a spot, a vintage boutique started by Mackenzie Crawford. With 60’s Esque décor and racks on racks of amazing clothing, this shop is where you can find unique vintage pieces at affordable prices. Adding to the charm of the shop is Shana the beautiful and very knowledgeable shop-babe. If you’re in LA head to Silver Lake to eat and shop locally.
