Ladies who lunch in Palo Alto were in for a true San Francisco treat. On a sunny afternoon at Wilkes Bashford in Palo Alto, Designer and San Francisco native Derek Lam made an appearance. He played a little game of show and tell about his inspiration and latest collection. San Francisco Chronicle’s fashion guru Tony Bravo led the discussion with Derek Lam. They chatted about everything from inspiration for the collection to Derek’s chicest city choice…London won. Fresh ahi tuna salads were served on tables donning fresh flowers courtesy of FarmGirl Flowers. As ladies lunched models floated through the room showing us the pieces in structured fabrics guaranteed to do a body good.
